We analyze historical data from the E.W. Brown Solar Farm to study solar panel degradation. More specifically, the derating of solar panel performance is quantified by decoupling the effects of soiling from solar-cell material degradation. Site-specific soiling is also identified via analyzing surface soiling materials collected from the solar panels.
